Joelle Millikin, MD

Dr. Millikin is available to see patients in Moscow on Mondays and Tuesdays. She is available to see patients in Lewiston on Wednesdays – Fridays.

As a double-board-certified internal and geriatric medicine doctor, Dr. Joelle Millikin offers exceptional care and guidance to her patients and their care partners. Her expertise as a healthcare and adult primary care provider includes chronic disease prevention and care, including lifestyle intervention, medical counseling, and medication management. Dr. Millikin is also a memory care specialist, serving adult patients with memory-related conditions.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Dr. Millikin completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Illinois. Dr. Millikin then completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. To become an advanced provider, she later completed further specialty training in geriatric medicine through her fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.

Dr. Millikin enjoys getting to know her patients through their history and physical exams as well as counseling on their diagnosis. She believes in a collaborative relationship between doctor and patient and enjoys working with her patients and any caregivers on developing a plan for treatment that is realistic for their life and goals of care.

As a local healthcare provider, Dr. Millikin loves serving her community in Lewiston and Moscow, Idaho. Outside of medicine, Dr. Millikin spends her time with her family. She enjoys traveling and likes to stay active through cross-country skiing, weight lifting, and hiking.
